Now Offering Cupping Sessions!
Hello, friends!
I’m excited to announce that we are now offering stand-alone cupping sessions! For those of you not familiar with cupping, I like to describe it as a reverse massage. Instead of pressing down on your muscles and tissues, the use of cups with suction pulls the muscle fibers and tissues apart enabling improved circulation of blood and lymph and a local healing inflammatory response. Translation — it’s great for relieving muscle tightness and pain and promoting overall relaxation.
Kelsey Rumfello is now offering 30-minute cupping sessions during her Friday afternoon shifts for only $40. What better way to kick off the weekend? You can book your appointment with her here.

Seeking Stress Relief?
One of my favorite medicinal herbs, used in both Chinese and western herbalism, is the rose. This beautiful flower is known for its soothing, calming, and circulating abilities. I have several favorite ways of bringing rose’s nurturing benefits into my daily life. You may want to try some of these!
Adding 3-4 dried rose buds to my herbal or black tea. (Rose buds are available from online retailers like Mountain Rose Herbs.)
Spritzing myself or the room with rose water. (I like Heritage Store brand because it’s just rose oil and purified water).
Taking rose in flower essence or flower essence tincture form - directly on the tongue or in a glass of water. This is my go-to approach when stress seizes my whole body. It’s safe for kids too! (I use Floracopeia flower essence products.)
Walking in a rose garden — either Berkeley Rose Garden or Morcom Rose Garden. We are so lucky to have these healing gardens locally!
I hope you try one of these and enjoy the simple stress relieving, heart opening benefits that roses can offer!
With love,
Janet
